Summary

To many people, there’s something a bit scary about seeing a big black crow or a raven, which is the largest member of the crow family. Maybe it goes back to Edgar Allan Poe’s chilling poem “The Raven,” or maybe it has to do with the fact that these large birds can often be seen feasting on dead animals. In Crows and Ravens, author James V. Bradley shows that these birds aren’t so frightening after all. The book investigates the world of these lively birds—how they find food, build nests, and raise families, all while struggling to stay alive in a changing world.
